Goldline offers lowered floor Side Entry Minivans for those who
need versatility in mobility. Most side entry vans allow the wheelchair
occupant to ride in the front passenger position. The original
seat is on a quick release base that can easily be removed from
the vehicle. From this position the wheelchair occupant can see
clearly to the front and sides, and is approximately at eye level
with the driver. The
wheelchair can also be secured in the mid-row position
with the passenger front seat left in place.

To enter
these vehicles a ramp is deployed either manually, or by power
for those needing independence. A power kneel option is also available
to help decrease the ramp angle for easier entry.
Many options
are available for driver applications. A quick–release driver’s
seat can be requested which allows the occupant to drive from
their wheelchair. A special docking device is installed to secure
the wheelchair in place without having to use traditional type
tie-downs. For those able to transfer, a six-way driver’s
seat can be installed that travels forward/backward, up/down and
rotates under full power. Driver controls and devices can also
be added to gain full independence.
